We all love seeing Tuis and Woodpigeons about. How about planting some trees and shrubs to encourage them into your garden.

We have a great range of trees and shrubs in store that you can use in your garden.

Large trees to feed Woodpigeon

- Taraire, Karaka, Nikau, Puriri, Kohekohe, Miro, Kahikatea, Titoki, Lacebark, Kowhai, Rewarewa, Tawapou, Wineberry, Totara, Ngaio, and Pigeon wood.

Shrubs/small trees to feed Wood pigeons

- Tawapou, Mahoe, Karamu, Lancewood, Five finger, Cabbage tree, Ramarama, Red Mapou, Horopito, Coprosmas and Kawakawa.

Some non natives you can plant are Persimmon and Guava trees.

- Kowhai, Kahikatea, Rewarewa, Pohutukawa, Puriri, Wineberry, Rimu, Totara and Ngaio.

Shrubs/small trees

- Flax, Karo, Five finger, Putaputaweta, Puka, Lancewood, Red Mapou, Cabbage tree, and Coprosmas.

Some non natives you can plant are Bottle brush, Tree Lucerne, Grevillias, Flowering cherries, Feijoas, and Camellia.
