The successful applicants will be part of the Matauranga Whanui team which plan and deliver Health Promotion, Youth Services, Education and Training opportunities and programmes. These full time positions will have a primary focus on public health in schools, and youth services. They also involve working with communities and agencies, Taitamaariki (Youth) and Mokopuna (Children) Mentors and engagement with whanau, hapu and iwi). Applicants with proven work experience in Health Promotion, Education or Youth services would be an advantage.
Vacancy 057/2014, Personal Assistant to General Manager, Matauranga Whanui, Whangarei
We are looking for an experienced Personal Assistant for our busy General Manager of Matauranga Whanui (MW). The successful applicant key responsibilities include:
• Management and prioritization of all forms of correspondence, arranging meetings and events and making travel bookings for the General Manager MW
• Day to day management of the office to ensure the smooth running of Matauranga Whanui
• Administrative support to the team
• Maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders
• Co-ordination and administration of contract management
The ideal applicant will have extensive PA and office management experience [ideally a minimum of 5+ years]; Excellent Microsoft Office suite knowledge; exceptional time management and organisational skills; impeccable personal presentation; good IT and technical nous and be approachable.
