Children got the chance to unleash their creativity through a holiday workshop featuring face painting, circus activities, and drama.
The Pop Up Street Theatre Summer Series workshops at the Ruakaka Recreation Centre were organised by Helen Morton-Jones from Making A Scene Speech & Drama Academy after noticing a need forperforming arts activities in the Bream Bay area.
There was a circus workshop run by Circool Circus on Tuesday, face painting run by Nadine Clement from Face Painting Northland on Wednesday, and drama and improvisation workshop run by Ms Morton-Jones on Thursday.
"It was awesome. It was above expectations, the kids had a great time," Ms Morton-Jones said.
Photographer John Stone went along to Wednesday's workshop.
