Bryce Wastney.

Bryce Wastney.

"Baby, baby, it's a wild world", as Yusuf Islam once sang. He was known then - and will probably always be - as Cat Stevens, one of the poet/songwriters and voices of a generation but whose music is timeless.

Wild World is the title of an evening of acoustic, soulful interpretations of Cat Steven's songs and his story, performed on acoustic guitars by New Zealand singer/songwriter Bryce Wastney, accompanied by Ryan Beehre (Minuit).

"Cat Stevens has been a huge influence on my own songwriting career and shows that a well-written song can in fact be timeless," Wastney said.

The Wild World show has sold out across New Zealand and has received rave reviews.

Wastney has toured New Zealand and Australia for over a decade and has performed with acts such as Guy Sebastian, Paul Ubana Jones, Marlon Williams, Jackie Bristow, Anna Coddington, The Germein Sisters, Shaun Kirk and more.
