Police are investigating the early morning break in at a Whangarei dairy where tobacco and cash were taken.
Hikurangi's Kingsway Diary was broken into around 4.45am this morning and police are appealing for any help to catch the thieves.
Detective Sergeant Dave Wilkinson said and unknown quantity of tobacco and cash, and possibly other goods, were taken during the burglary.
Mr Wilkinson appealed for anybody who saw or heard any suspicious activities, including vehicle or people, in the area to get in touch. People can ring Whangarei police on 09 4304500 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Kingsway Dairy was robbed on July 10, 2016, when robbers ran in and struck the dairy owner the head with a tyre iron. The dairy owner then chased Ruwhiu and two others out of the shop.
