An ambulance was called to Whangarei's Pak'n Save store yesterday after a worker was injured during a fall.
The supermarket worker was treated for minor injuries after falling off a ladder at the store on Walton St between 1-2pm. St John paramedics treated the young man before taking him to the Whangarei Hospital.
It is believed he suffered a head knock. Police were at the scene and Sergeant Dan Cleaver said the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, formerly the Department of Labour, had been informed. The supermarket was not ready to comment.
