A Whangarei graphic artist has set up a website dedicated to raising support for an Auckland cancer patient who needs her garage home renovated so she can live their after chemotherapy.
Jessica Finnigan is 21, married to Michael with two kids.
She's also recently been diagnosed with a rare cancer strain - Ewings Sarcoma - and has been given up to three years to live if the cancer can't be beaten.
Mr Finnigan is now unemployed after leaving his job in order to look after their two children, aged one and five. The family lives in a garage and have to totally renovate it with new fitting so that Jessica can return home after chemotherapy, due to the effects of the treatment on her immune system.
Marc Whitlow, from Filthy Web Design, said he was moved to help after talking to his brother, who is Jessica's uncle.
