Police want information on the aggravated robbery of a pizza store in Whangarei last night, which left a worker with knife cuts.
It is the third aggravated robbery in Whangarei in a week.
About 10pm last night a man entered Domino's Pizza on Water St.
He threatened a male employee with a knife and then ran off with some cash. The employee received superficial cuts from the knife.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the robbery or any suspicious activity in the area between 9.45 and 10.15pm.
Tikipunga Super Liquor was also robbed last Wednesday, when three hooded people with weapons entered the shop at 9.30pm and took cash, cigarettes and alcohol. Police would not comment on the type of weapon used in this incident.
Otangarei's Jack St dairy was robbed on Monday about 4pm by three men carrying weapons, reported to be sticks with knives attached.
Police said the incidents were not necessarily linked, though all three were still under investigation.
