Angry neighbour charged for yelling

A Whangarei man who refused police requests to stop yelling at his neighbours has been arrested and charged with disorderly behaviour.

Sergeant Jonelle Culling said the 21-year-old was outside his home in an Otaika street about 6.25pm on Tuesday when he started yelling "at the top of his voice" at his neighbours.

She said police were called and the man continued his tirade despite officers asking him to stop.
