Indeed the four handicapper from Maraenui Golf Club has a couple of eagles to his name.

For now he hopes to compete in the Eagles Society of Hawke's Bay-sponsored Junior 36-hole strokeplay tournament at Hawke's Bay Golf Club on July 12.
He says HBHS is also looking for a few more players to establish a driving range at the school.
Last year he was runner-up in the plate division of the Waipukurau Open. He has also made it to the third round of his Maraenui club's senior championship this year.
Last Sunday, Eaglesome finished second to clubmate Russell Mitchell in the individual gross section of the event.
Three-handicapper Mitchell shot a 73 while Eaglesome shot 75 to take second place on a countback from Sam Penrice of the Hastings club.
Maddison Noakes, of Maraenui, won the nett section with 67. Forty-two players competed in the championship which the hosts won by nine strokes from Hawke's Bay.
Overall, Bay lead Napier by 25 points.
