Hurricanes flanker Karl Lowe and former Canes halfback Chris Eaton yesterday took the tally to three players with Super Rugby experience who have re-signed with the Magpies this week for the 2013 season.

Lowe and Eaton join Crusaders and former All Black winger Zac Guildford, whose re-signing for the 2013 and 14 ITM Cup seasons was announced on Tuesday night. Maori All Black Lowe has played 91 first-class games for the Magpies and is on target to become the province's 11th centurion this season.

Eaton, who has played 64 first-class games for the Magpies since 2005, had a brief stint with the Force in Super Rugby this year, and will ensure significant experience is on hand at halfback alongside Force player and former All Black Alby Mathewson, who signed for the Magpies last year.

"All of these guys are loyal, passionate Magpies and each of them add considerable experience to us in a vital ITM campaign," Magpies head coach Craig Philpott said.

"With their signings, we are close to completing our fully contracted roster for the upcoming competition and I'm sure our fans and sponsors will be very excited by the strength and depth of the ITM Cup squad we will announce later this month."
