The 2014 version of The Kids Sing was held last night at St Matthew's Church in Hastings, where about 300 children showcased their talents.
Eight schools and 10 choirs took part this year including Iona College (two choirs), Havelock North Intermediate, Haumoana School, Hereworth School (two choirs), Woodford House, Richmond
School, Heretaunga Intermediate and Taradale Primary School.
The Kids Sing is the junior version of The Big Sing and is for primary and intermediate choirs. Both events come under the umbrella of the New Zealand Choral Federation.
Each choir performed a set piece, The Moon by Andy Beck, plus two songs of their choice.
