Woman in a stable condition after car roll in Hastings

A woman in her 40s is in a stable condition after a car rolled in Hastings on Monday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the single-car crash on York Rd, Hastings about 2.52pm.

A St John Ambulance transported one woman in a critical condition to hospital.

A Hawke's Bay District Health Board spokeswoman said the woman in her 40s was on Tuesday morning in a stable condition.

Two ambulances attended the scene of the crash.

A police spokeswoman said traffic management had been in place and a tow truck was called.
