The crowds will be strolling through the arts and culture area of Napier's CBD on Saturday during White Night, the new event in the calendar of this year's Harcourt's Hawke's Bay Arts Festival.

Join friends and family within the space of a few CBD blocks around Hastings and Tennyson streets as they come alive with music, performers and artists in residence.

After sunset and on the hour you can immerse yourself in a surreal and futuristic laser light canopy show down Herschell St, courtesy of Sam Deller from Boom Factory.

MTG is open with free admission and the many galleries in the arts quarter will be open, welcoming the public in to view.

Inspired by Nuit Blanche in Paris, White Night was conceived to make arts and culture accessible to everyone in the community.
