*   I am a male husband grocery shopper and a very quick efficient one at that. I think there should be a day when men only can shop at a supermarket and women on alternate days. A lot of you stand in the middle of the aisle and yak or leave your trolley there and disappear.

*   Bought 2 $5 All Black flags. Put one on our fence. Pinched same night. Wife put one up on hospital ward where she works. Pinched next day. Makes us real proud of Kiwis.

*   Shame to the person who stole our ABs flag out of the garden last night. I'm taking the others down today. Sorry to those that were enjoying them.

*   Having an All Blacks flag is fine, but where are all the New Zealand flags? All other countries in the RWC proudly fly their national flags.

*   Can someone give the RWC commentators a geography and history lesson. Napier is on the East Coast not West and the earthquake was 1931 not 1935. BGR

*   I think the RWC illustrates the importance of Hawke's Bay Twin Cities becoming the third largest city in NZ. Nelson got more games than us. We are treated like two small towns. Time to get into 21st century thinking?

*   Congratulations to Eva Bradley for voicing her opinion on the World Cup, I totally agree with her.

*   Can people stop complaining about all the taxpayer money spent on the penguin. The money etc was donated by people who wanted to. It's their money, not yours! PR
