*   Why are cyclists using roadway bridges at Awatoto? There's a cycle track right there to keep them clear of traffic. Bear in mind, you don't pay warrant, registration or road-users tax. Yes, I do ride a bike, but also drive a truck for a living. Use common sense.
*   Good
point, W Schofield, re Wattie's - but did you check all the additives, ie sugar?
*   Totally agree with Mason Baker about Mission Concert. Was looking forward to someone new. Hopefully Church Road Winery will do better.
*   Re the price of milk. If the money I pay for milk goes to and supports New Zealanders like the farmers and their staff, tanker drivers, delivery drivers and processing staff, packaging companies and etc, then I do not mind paying the price for a fresh bottle of milk. MP
*   Many families are struggling just to survive. How do you tell your children their dog, their loved pet, has got to go because of the registration cost - $127 for what? It is such a rip-off. Please explain, council.
*   Re olive trees in central Hastings. I always wondered why they were planted, considering they are known to bear fruit each year. Should have looked at the bigger picture.
*   To the nurse on the third floor of the hospital who took about 15 minutes to come to a patient when buzzed to help prop her leg up, and then said "You have a few friends in here, why couldn't they have done it?" - shame on you.
*   Post-snow fun-seekers pouring constantly into the hills for three days - show some respect, please. When you take stupid risks and become stuck, call a tow truck.
*   I watched the bewildered passengers getting off the bus with their luggage at the shoddy Dalton St bus stop in the freezing rain. I felt so sorry for them.
