Most classes of cattle sold well but lambs were back on last week at Stortford Lodge yesterday.

Agents put the easing down to many buyers already being stocked up and the lambs being smaller than earlier weeks.

The big cattle yarding of almost 900 head had a distinctly dairy country look about it with many friesian and friesian-cross bulls, heifers and steers offered.

The good two-year steers sold well as did the yearling bulls.
