A yarding of black-faced lambs were a feature of yesterday's sale.

The better stock sold well but lesser types were harder to shift at yesterday's Stortford Lodge store sale.

A feature of the sheep yarding was the 760 mixed-sex black-face lambs sent in by Owahanga Station, Akitio. The top line sold for $127.

Ewes with lambs at foot were back on last week as hoggets with lambs began to appear.
In the cattle sale, the better cattle in a mixed-quality yarding of about 220 head sold well.
Buyers were from Hawke's Bay.
