The vehicle and bikes reported stolen in yesterdays paper have been found and the items are mostly undamaged.

A vehicle stolen with two bikes aboard from outside a Napier man's office as he worked on Saturday afternoon has been found abandoned in a nearby street.

Owner Don Pitt said the vehicle and the bikes, taken from a parking area in the Ahuriri shopping centre and residential zone, were largely undamaged and intact when found about half a kilometre away in Richardson Place, off Hyderabad Rd, on Sunday night.

"A bit of damage where they used a screwdriver in the door lock, and I think the only things missing are a pair of sunglasses and a bike pump," he said.

No one was yesterday reported to have been apprehended in relation to the theft, noticed by Mr Pitt when he saw his 1992 Mitsubishi Pajero being driven away.
