State Highway 5 crash: Traffic flowing freely after vehicle goes into ditch

Traffic is flowing freely on State Highway 5 after earlier reports of a three-vehicle crash near Tarawera just before 8am.

Police said the incident involved one car going into a ditch.

There were no reports of injuries and the incident was cleared by 10.30am.

A section of the Napier-Taupō Rd was previously closed on Wednesday after an empty trailer unit of a truck was blown over as a result of strong winds.
