This year's Spring Festival will be a real buzz, thanks to the generosity of Dannevirke sponsors, Don Stephenson says.
Mr Stephenson, a Dannevirke Rotary Club member, said the major sponsors had been absolutely amazing.
"Approaching businesses isn't easy sometimes, but I've been delighted by the group of sponsors whose generositywill ensure the festival is the best yet," Mr Stephenson said.
The festival calendar features a wide range of events including children's puppet theatre, art, quilting, handcraft and floral art exhibitions, as well as theatre productions and Hans Christian Anderson storytelling sessions.
The animals aren't left out either, with a special animal blessing planned as well as Dog Dayz, the Ruahine Kennel Association's big day out for dogs and their owners.
At Wimbledon, exotic sheep, shearing, spinning and weaving at Brian Hales' farm will add a special country feel to the festival, with the grand finale, the national Viking market day, parade and Viking ball at the end of October.
