Last night, at the Hawke's Bay Sports Awards at Pettigrew Arena in Napier, the region's sports people and supporters were recognised.

The winners were:

Hawke's Bay Today-Radio Sport Sportsperson of the Year: Aimee Fisher (Kayaking).

Sportsground.co.nz Administrator: Ivan Aplin (Cycling).

Nimon and Sons RSO/Club Operations: Hawke's Bay Netball.
