Hawke's Bay rugby officials will aim to significantly improve the game day experience for Magpies fans this year.
As part of the process, union commercial and marketing manager Jay Campbell will introduce a Magpies Fan Council.
"Basically I am looking to secure a group of passionate Magpie fans together toinvestigate the good, bad and indifferent around our match day," Campbell said.
"This could be around music, food and beverage vendors or simply walking through the turnstiles. Hopefully this leads to some significant improvements in and around our overall game day experience," he said.
Once formed, the council, will meet in a relaxed atmosphere to discuss ideas and strategies.
"The Magpies Fan Council is all about giving fans a voice in creating what you want to see, hear, eat, drink and experience at Magpies games this year and helping improve what are already fantastic events at Napier's McLean Park but giving you the fan the opportunity to improve it even more.
"The Magpies Fan Council is part of Hawke's Bay Rugby's commitment to better understand Magpies fans thoughts about rugby in our region and for us to learn more about our fans and community," Campbell explained.
It will be interesting to see if any of the fans are keen to see a return of the Harley Davidson motorcyles which proved a big hit almost a decade ago.
The council will consist of 12-14 people from across the many sectors: long-term season members, new season members, diehard fans and also family and kids.
Those interested are asked to direct message the union on the Magpies Facebook page or contact Hayley at the union.
