Families are invited to share their Anzac connections. Photo/File

You have the chance for your family's Anzac connection to be made public in a special display at MTG Hawke's Bay this weekend.

From this Thursday until Sunday you can write your story on a commemorative card in the Anzac Stories display, which will be featured in an online gallery.

Selected stories will be pinned to a feature wall in the main foyer.

"As a museum, it is important not only to commemorate the Anzacs as a whole, but to give our community a way to celebrate their own family legacies," MTG public programmes co-ordinator Todd Dixon said.

"We want to create a dialogue as well as a display."
