Ngawaka Rd crash: One dead after single-vehicle crash in Central Hawke’s Bay

The crash happened south of Flemington last night.

One person has died in a crash in Central Hawke’s Bay.

Emergency services were called to a single-vehicle crash on Ngawaka Rd, south of Flemington, about 11.10pm yesterday.

A police spokesperson said the sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.

The road was closed while the scene was examined and the death has been referred to the coroner.
