Mammals - the human kind - are being sought to talk about former Mahia resident, Moko the dolphin. Fans of Moko have been invited to share their stories about the friendly mammal for a documentary being shot in eastern Bay of Plenty by film student and marine biologist Amy Taylor. "I'm keento hear from surfers, sailors, fishermen, kids, local iwi, and anyone else who has something to say," Miss Taylor said. Despite having to buy a new camera after hers was drenched by waves, Miss Taylor said her "Moko Doco" was coming along well. She said she had shot around 30 hours of footage including Moko underwater and clips of people interacting with him, as well as interviews with key players. Miss Taylor said she was looking for musicians and music producers to help her with the soundtrack. Miss Taylor can be contacted by emailing her at amytaylor.nz@gmail.com or by phone on 027 2818398.
