The Art Deco Trust says it's "thrilled" to announce it will be hosting Matilda Rice and Art Green, who met on the debut season of TV show The Bachelor, at the Tremain's Art Deco Festival starting this week.

The Trust has fine-tuned an itinerary for the newly engaged couple's three-day visit to the region including attending the Friday Night with the Stars concert in the Sound Shell, the Vintage Car Parade on Saturday and the Gatsby Picnic on the Sunday.

Art Deco Trust festival director Glen Pickering said "We're very excited to have Matilda and Art joining us at the festival. This year is very special as it marks the 30th anniversary of the Art Deco Festival and it is promising to be the best yet. Music is a key theme for us, and we have over 200 hours lined up together with an extensive programme of over 250 events, so it's an ideal year to be showcasing the magnificent era to Art and Matilda.

"They are such an engaging couple, and they are excited to be coming to the event and getting a true festival experience. Matilda will be on the judging panel of our fashion show which is fantastic as she is becoming somewhat of a style icon in her own right," said Pickering.
