A motorbike rider has been critically injured after a two-vehicle crash at a Hastings intersection.
Emergency services were called to the Grays Rd and Lane St intersection after a car and motorbike collided about 9.30am.
A Hato Hone St John spokesperson said ambulance staff took one patient to Hawke’s Bay
Hospital in a critical condition.
A police spokesperson said the road was closed and the Serious Crash Unit had been advised.
The spokesperson advised drivers to avoid the area and expect delays.
