A man is in a stable condition after the bulldozer he was working in rolled down a hill on a remote forestry block this morning.
The Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter responded to a call out to a forestry block inland from Wairoa in an area called Putere about 9:10am.
The
52-year-old man fractured his hip and suffered chest and leg injuries after the bulldozer rolled.
He was taken to Hawke's Bay Hospital for further treatment, and is in a stable condition.
