A large scrub fire has broken out near the Expressway in Meeanee.
Emergencey services are on the scene on the Expressway at the Taradale turnoff near Guppy Rd.
Napier Fire Service senior station officer Mark McGill said the fire was about 60m by 20m.
"There are two appliances and
two tankers and crews are at work with three hose lines," Mr McGill said.
