What would you do if you won $500,000? Would you disappear on a dream holiday? Wave goodbye to the last of your student loan? How about getting a foot, or two, on the property ladder?

If you bought a Lotto ticket at Andrew Spence Pharmacy in Napier that question might not be hypothetical any more, after a winning first division ticket was sold there.

Pharmacy owner Andrew Spence said they were delighted one of their customers had won big.

"It is really fantastic. We hope the lucky winner is one of our regular players and wish them lots of enjoyment and pleasure from their winnings," Spence said.

If you are hoping to be paid a visit by lady luck, Andrew Spence Pharmacy is clearly the place to go, with the pharmacy having sold 12 Division 1, 80 Division 2 and two Power Ball winning tickets.

There was $1 million up to be won in Saturday night's Lotto draw with each of the two first division winners taking home $500,000.

The other first division winner bought their ticket in Renwick, near Blenheim.

It was apparently a lucky Lotto draw for Hawke's Bay locals, with a winning second division ticket sold at Unichem Stortford Lodge.

If you bought your Lotto ticket there you could be taking home almost $24,000.

There were 14 second division winners nationwide.

Currently neither major prizes won in Hawke's Bay have been claimed, so if you brought a ticket at either pharmacy get it checked at any Lotto outlet, on the MyLotto website or through the lotto app.
