The region's newest club, the Hawke's Bay Dragon Boat club, officially opened to the public on Saturday. The public was invited to the open day on Saturday at Meeanee Quay in Westshore. There were 20-30 minute have a go sessions to try out the new sport which originates from China. Photographer Ian Cooper caught a glimpse of the fun from the shore.
