Investigations are under way into a suspicious early morning house fire in Hawke’s Bay.
Napier firefighters were called to Geddis Ave in Maraenui about 4.30am on Thursday to an empty house ablaze.
Napier firefighters attended the early morning house fire.
A Fire and Emergency spokeswoman said two appliances attended from Napier along with theoff-support team who assisted firefighters and with traffic control.
“It was a single-storey house − 10 metres by 15 metres,” the spokeswoman said.
