Hawke's Bay Today is constantly looking at ways to engage readers and enhance the quality of the paper.
In recent years there have been some big changes, notably the move to morning delivery four years ago and the change from broadsheet to compact version after that.
We are constantly looking to make meaningful changes in a bid to freshen things up and keep pace with an ever-changing industry.
This year we have already made a few small changes and will continue trying new things as the year goes on.
Many of the small changes are in style and design - you may have noticed that photos of reporters and some columnists have been updated.
Some of the sections in the daily paper and Hawke's Bay Today Weekend will be given a bit of a makeover in the next few months so that we can keep our paper interesting and reader-friendly.
In other changes, our money page on a Monday will move to Fridays, while we will no longer have a television guide in Vibe Magazine on a Wednesday. Instead we will have a TV page each Monday highlighting the best shows on the box for the coming week.
The daily TV schedule will remain in the daily paper, with a weekend television guide on a Saturday.
This year will be a busy one with a lot happening in our province, and we plan to cover it all for you.
The biggest news this year will be the local government elections. We will give you comprehensive coverage and put the information in front of you so that you will be able to make an informed choice.
Be it online or in print, no one has more news about Hawke's Bay than Hawke's Bay Today.
