Driver sexually assaulted girls on bus

Save An elderly bus driver was jailed today after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting girls on his bus.
David William Harrison was sentenced to three and a half years in prison by Judge Bridget Mackintosh at Napier District Court this morning.
The 70-year-old was working as a bus driver in Auckland
between 1981 and 1986 when he sexually violated two girls on the bus.
Harrison had early pleaded guilty to 30 counts of sexual assault against the girls, aged 7 and 14 at the time.
Court documents said his offending took place during work time breaks.
