1 Curator's Floor Talk - He Manu Tioriori - Songbirds (new event)

Join curator Charles Ropitini for a special floor talk on Maori jazz bands and waiata of the 1930s, portrayed through the exhibition He Manu Tīoriori: Songbirds - 100 Years of Ngāti Kahungunu Music.

2 Deco Dinner Express and Film (new)

This is a great way to immerse oneself in a complete Art Deco evening. Catch the vintage RM31 railcar from Napier to Hastings while enjoying an entree by Orton Tailored Cuisine along with a drink, thanks to Sileni Estates.

The destination is the Art Deco-inspired Focal Point Cinema, where guests will enjoy a buffet main and then be escorted into the cinema to enjoy a comedy titled Top Hat (1935). 3 Happy Hour Express to Shed 2 (new)

Catch the railcar from Hastings or Napier to Ahuriri and enjoy a couple of Happy Hour drinks in Caution @ Shed 2 while Art Deco movies and jazz music play in the background.

4 High Society Soiree (new)

This event is recreating a 1930s soiree with a lavish celebration of everything Art Deco: red carpet, bubbles and canapés on arrival, top jazz group Bella Donna and the Bandits playing throughout the evening, a dance floor, roulette tables and finger food later in the evening, with a backdrop of the gorgeous Gatsby rooms.
