Red noses were the order of the day for Dannevirke's L's Belles Choir entertained at Rahiri Retirement Village at the start of the mid-winter Christmas programme.

Red noses were the order of the day for Dannevirke's L's Belles Choir entertained at Rahiri Retirement Village at the start of the mid-winter Christmas programme.

There was toe-tapping, energetic hand clapping and wide smiles when Dannevirke's L's Belles Choir entertained at Rahiri Retirement Village last week.

The all-women choir delivered a wide-ranging repertoire of Christmas songs to start the retirement home's mid-winter Christmas celebrations, with everyone agreeing, "it was a lot of fun".

With their additional props, including red noses, the choir held their audience captive and when encouraged to singalong, residents did so with gusto.
