The caravan has now set up at the Greenmeadows New World, where it will be open until midday, and will then travel to Gisborne.
The Breast Cancer caravan situated in the centre of Havelock North has been a success.
Breast specialist Alison Hayes believes the caravan has been creating awareness in the small towns of the country they have visited and said it had been receiving a lot of interest.
"It helps empower woman
to look after their bodies," Dr Hayes said.
She said if just one person received information from the caravan, many more could benefit from it.
"There are people coming in for information and then taking that information to friends and family."
