"No one has ever done that before in the same year so it would be pretty incredible if he managed to do it."
Those race goers who are planning to dress to impress can enter the Hawaiian Airlines Fashion in the Field, which is being presented by ZM.
"Registrations close at 1pm and the top prize on offer is a trip for two to Hawaii."
For people interested in taking a punt the prestigious Bay Ford Punter of the Year is back for its 29th year.
Mr Castles said they had already received up to 90 registrations and expected more before the racing kicked off.
"Tony Clark has won for the last two years so he has entered again to defend his title."
Mr Castles said the day is fast becoming A Hawke's Bay event that is not to be missed.
"There is plenty of entertainment and fun to be had and hopefully people can back a winner or two as the day goes on."
