The finalists for the 16th Westpac Hawke's Bay Chamber of Commerce Business Awards have been announced.

Chamber chief executive Wayne Walford announced the finalists at a packed cocktail function at the Vidal Winery last night.

He congratulated the finalists in the nine categories, ranging from small to large businesses.

"All the finalists should be congratulated for investing the time, working on their business, to enter these awards" he said.

Judges will visit all businesses before selecting category winners and ultimately the Westpac Business of the Year winner, to be announced at a gala dinner on November 7.
