Hundreds of riders pedalled along Hawke's Bay's picturesque trails in the Big Easy cycling event at the weekend.
Hawke's Bay Tourism general manager Annie Dundas estimated about 1500 people turned out for the ride, which was on a par with last year's event.
"We're delighted with the day. There's a lot of very happy people."
On Saturday they set off from the Havelock North Village Green at 10am and rode across the region's trails to finish at a concert at Church Road Winery in Taradale.
The riders enjoyed fine weather and access to "Big Easy deals" at hospitality stops along the way.
