Hawke's Bay has plenty of activities and events for people of all ages to enjoy. Olivia Whyte lists 8 things on offer this weekend.

1. Minions movie for Cure Kids
From September 30 until October 4, two teams of two with only $10 between them will compete in a heroic expedition, traversing New Zealand from Auckland to Queenstown. Reading Cinemas is hosting a fundraising movie to raise money for Cure Kids. There will be lots

Join the team at MTG Hawke's Bay for a Matariki story. Matariki is the Maori name for the cluster of stars also known as The Pleiades. It rises in mid-winter, late May or early June. For many Maori, Matariki heralds the start of a new year. It's a great way to learn the Maori myth at no charge.
•MTG Hawke's Bay, 1 Tennyson St, Napier. Today, 11am to 11.30am.

6. Acoustic music with Eilish Rose
