1. The Chapelwick Fair - this year's fair will feature exhibitors with gifts, sweets, treats and loads more. Check out local and out-of-town stalls for gifts such as soaps, purple rice, knitwear, nursery, homeopathy and much more. 2. Fuse - Zeal HB - this event is about building relationships within the dance community and giving our youth a positive environment where their passion, talent and heart for hip hop dance is appreciated, celebrated and nurtured. 3. Elsthorpe Trail Bike Ride - grab your two or four-wheeler or side-by-side and come for a day full of fun and some spectacular views. Today, 8.30am to 4pm, Elsthorpe Sports Grounds, Kahuraniki Rd, Elsthorpe, Otane. Gate sales only.
4. Hawke's Bay Farmers' Market - delight in a shopping event of taste sensations at one of New Zealand's oldest and largest traditional farmers' markets. The market offers a complete shopping experience where you can discover a diverse range of locally grown and artisan-produced products. Tomorrow, 8.30am to 12.30pm, Hawke's Bay A and P Showgrounds, Kenilworth Rd.
5. Made In Wairoa Farmers Market - Made In Wairoa is a place where Wairoa produce growers, artisan producers and artists can sell their wares directly to the consumer. Today, 8.30am to noon, in the De Luxe carpark, 3-13 Bridge St, Wairoa.
6. Mozzarella and Halloumi Cheese Making Workshop - in this workshop, you will learn how to make halloumi, mozzarella and quar, taught by Chris Van Der Have of Farmhouse Kitchen. All equipment and ingredients to make cheese are provided and a beginner's Italian Kit (valued at $39.90) from Mad Millie is included in the price. Just bring yourself. No prior experience is required. Light refreshments included. You will go home with a full set of course notes, including recipes and instructions - and, of course, you'll take some of your cheese home to show off. 7. Urban Farmers Market - this morning couldn't be better spent than strolling down Emerson St in Napier to visit a local market that offers local goods and produce. Enjoy freshly roasted coffee, talk to the growers and shop local for the best produce throughout Hawke's Bay. The stalls open from 9am to 1pm in Clive Square.
