Every member will get a personalised keycard to access the building, even during unstaffed hours, a free fitness assessment with a personal trainer valued at $100, plus an instruction plan.
A personal web page offers access to an online training centre where new workouts can be created, modified or tracked, as well as an online nutrition and meal planning programme which recommends daily calorie intake and menus based on personal goals and preferences.
HydroMassage is another feature, to be made available to members at an "affordable" price.
"You don't even need to get undressed, you remain dry throughout the massage and can control everything, from speed to pressure and area, with an interactive touch screen."
The gym offers a month-to-month option without having to sign a long-term contract and there is the option to freeze membership for up to three months at a time when not using it.
"The economy's tough but people still value their health," Mr Wilson said.
"I want to help by giving them more for their money and contributing to the health and quality of life in our community."
