Gisborne and Ilminster intermediate schools resumed their rivalry yesterday, Gisborne Intermediate taking the honours.

In under-65-kilogram boys’ rugby, Gisborne Intermediate won 46-10, while in the u48kg division, they won 64-15.

In football, Gisborne Intermediate boys won 15-0 and the girls, 12-0.

In hockey, Gisborne Intermediate girls beat a team of Ilminster boys and girls 5-1.

In basketball, Gisborne Intermediate boys won 34-33 but Ilminster girls won 36-6.

The Ilminster Year 8 girls’ netball team beat Gisborne Intermediate 26-7 and the Gisborne Year 7 girls won their game 23-19.
