Children from around Gisborne were participating in the Turanganui Schools Māori Cultural Festival yesterday.
More than 70 schools, kura, kohanga reo and early childhood centres are taking part.
The festival is on every day at the Farmers Air Event Centre at the showgrounds.
It finishes on Friday.
