On Monday from 10.30am, it’s Snakes Alive! featuring stories followed by a snakey craft activity.
Tuesday sees the start of the Teen Writer’s Hub summer camp for buddingyoung writers looking to hone their craft.
This is an introduction to the new Teen Writers' programme and is an opportunity for young people with an interest in writing in any format or genre to meet, share, be inspired and develop their craft.
“Come to as few or as many of the summer camp sessions as you’d like and bring your preferred writing tools (notepad/laptop),” says the library’s Facebook page.
On Wednesday, it’s Wild Creations where a box will not be just a box. The event will feature stories followed by a cardboard craft activity.
There will be a close encounter of the third kind on Friday in Aliens from Outer Space! Head to the library and be entertained by space stories then enjoy a fun alien craft activity.
Caregivers are reminded that children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult while in the library.
