Trust Tairāwhiti and Eastland Group will hold a Gisborne community engagement hui next week about the proposed sale of Eastland Network.
Presented by trust chair John Clarke and Eastland Group chair Matanuku Mahuika, the hui will begin with background information and rationale for the proposed sale before a question and
answer session.
The hui will be held next Tuesday, October 25, at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa – Te Poho o Whirikoka (the Resource Centre) in Childers Road. It will start at 5.30pm.
Eastland Group and its sole shareholder Trust Tairāwhiti earlier this month advised the proposed sale of Eastland Network had progressed to the due diligence stage, after receiving a number of non-binding indicative proposals in September,
