THE late Staff Sergeant Murray Derbyshire was farewelled with full military honours on Saturday.

FULL HONOURS: An honour guard of 50 serving regular force soldiers escorted the gun carriage carrying him on his last journey. S/Sgt Derbyshire served for more than 25 years in the Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment and was a serving member of 5/7 Battalion. He passed away at his home in Gisborne last week at the age of 59.
