Opinion

I have been reliably informed that Bob Hughes has cut down more trees than many of us could ever dream of. Thousands of them.

Although you walk and cycle with your dog, Bob, you must realise you have contributed enormously to global warming. More than most of us.

You also mention Barry Crump. He was no angel either. He was also your son in law. So hang on a minute mate, why do you rip into Fish and Game who are actually breeding wildlife, particularly pheasants, quail and ducks?

They put catch limits to make this sustainable, but nobody told you to stop knocking down glorious native trees of hundreds of years standing.

Trout have a place in Aotearoa New Zealand. These are licensed also to keep this asset sustainable.

In my opinion you never stop your Doom and Gloom about this world, but I find this world a beautiful place, particularly where we live.

Just one more thing, I don't see solar panels on your roof.

I've always had free hot water because of solar heat.

If I were you, I would do this and slow down global warming, rather than all the Gloom and Doom and barking up the wrong tree.
